I am a curious and passionate researcher focused on designing solutions to modern day problems.
Previously, I worked as a research associate and logistics manager for a biotechnology startup company located in San Diego. I started to feel unfulfilled in my role, as I was yearning to use my research skills and creativity to make new discoveries.
When I came across Google’s UX Design Certificate through Coursera, I was very intrigued. I have always been interested in research, design, and technology. I realized that the goals of UX/UI Design aligned perfectly to mine. I decided to take one year off from biotechnology and dedicate my time to learning more about UX/UI Design and completing the projects assigned in the course. Meanwhile, I have been working at my local farmers market to become more involved in my community.
I graduated from Tulane University, where I studied environmental science and completed a number of undergraduate research projects. I plan on using my research skills to help solve problems facing the lives of others and make an impact in the world. I am hopeful that my future career as a UX/UI Designer will help me achieve this goal.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me!
